What do you think the impacts are of social networking sites on modern day communication?

I'm sure you think that facebook, myspace make it cheaper and easier to talk to your friends, but the open-ness of facebook contributes to social conflicts?

A lot of drama happens with my friends about Myspace because

"I'm not on your top 4!!! But you're on mine!!!"

And my friends make fun of my other friends about her pictures being a bit...exposed...

And more then that. Basically Myspace just creates stupid unneccesary drama, so I quit it and so did a few of my friends.

These social networking sites are opening a door that has been a surprise to the savviest of internet guru's! Believe it or not, social network sites are fast becoming the cradle of internet marketing. So, by all means - EXPRESS YOUR OPINION - INVESTIGATE SOURCES - IT'S A PHENOMENON!
