How can I get Twitter followers??!!?

Facebook is pretty much done and like 4 months ago I made a twitter, at first I tried tweeting a lot and followed a few people. I just couldnt really get followers so I kinda stopped using it. I have done 304 tweets, I follow 65 people and I'm only followed by 24? Like seriously Im not, not popular at school Im a junior in high school and for the most part people know me, Im not shy, I play football but I cant get followers and Im coming to Yahoo answers just cause Ill be totally honest and say Im desperate, I have done funny tweets hoping to get retweeted, i reply to other peoples tweets so whats the deal? I dont wanna follow a bunch of people in hope of getting followed back because apparently most of my 65 followers dont. I dont wanna look retarded and have follow like 200 people and end up having like 50, 60 or 70 followers, that would be stupid. If anyone can give me help or tips that would be great!

You're probably not into the same things as I am, so I wouldn't suggest following people like @Winst0n_McCall, but try the old fashioned way of going on to Omegle, typing Twitter and a few of your personal interests into the tags, go on to text chat only, and when people with the Twitter tag come up, ask for a 'F4F', then they should give you their Twitter name, check them out and if you would like them to follow you, send them your Twitter name. After a while, maybe two to three weeks unfollow that person and you should have a good ratio going. I mean, I don't know why you'd be interested in Twitter when Tumblr is a million times better and all the best Twitter users have converted to there, but Good Luck, man.

There are many ways to get followers. Some ways to naturally build Twitter Followers.
