Kindle, iPad, nook? HELP!?
So all I want to be able to do is read and be able to go on the Internet. Also use Facebook, tumblr, twitter, and Pinterest. Which tablet would be best for me ? I'm considering the Kindle fire..
I do not care able being able to play music or games or download hundreds of apps. I just want to be able to do what I listed above.. I did research on some tablets already, and I just want some second opinions or personal experiences. Thank you and Happy Holidays Smile

The Blackberry Playbook is probably your thing. More secure than your three and it's a good size to fit into a jacket pocket like a kindle.

It's also rugged and does not crack or break easily like an ipad and you can access a lot more content than it to.

The nook colour is a basic android tablet and not as well built as it's competitors. But the other advantage of the playbook is your not tied to one market. So you can buy books from amazon, barnes and noble or itunes store and just use calibre to read them on your Playbook.

I would advise an android cell phone, then use it to google Slide Me market and download it. Open it and search 'Laputa' download it and search 'ttorrent' download that and search for your books on it. Download them and open them on Laputa. (Do not get a .pdf file because Laputa can't open them.) To do this open Laputa and hit the upper left arrow above the bookshelf. Hit the menu button on your android, which is usually a button with three lines in layers near the power button, but not always. Hit 'import' on your screen and click 'torrent' find your book file and checkmark the box and hit 'Done'. Go back to the bookshelf and enjoy. Merry Freaking Christmas. I just gave you the best gift you'll ever receive.

Don't care about games?
Kindle. You want a kindle.
Nooks aren't exactly great for Internet browsing and casual app usage, nor do they have any great features the kindle has.
iPads are built for gaming and browsing, if you want to play extremely high end games, get an iPad.

But since you don't care about games, a kindle is worth the money.

Android tablets are not very expensive because they don't have an expensive OS on them. I think it will do everything you want.

I'll say the Kindle Fire HD. You can do all those you mentioned on the Kindle. I won't suggest the Nook, as Barnes and Noble is losing sales and may not exist in the future. For the iPad, it's of much higher price, but it isn't really doing that more. You can find more apps on the iPad, but most of the apps that you'll use can be found on the Kindle. Indeed, the Kindle Fire HD indeed has the best speaker among all tablets (it's dolby audio speakers), which is great for watching video, listening to music, and may be in some games.

This review should help your final decision on which tablet to get:

There's a one day deal on Kindle Fire HD 9", you can get it cheaper within today. Check it out on the sales page.

Hope that helps.
