What should i do with my life?
I'm a sophomore in a community college. I don't do too well in school and on top of that i can't get a minimum wage job. I've applied for volunteering and internships and I have been rejected from both of those as well. When I apply for jobs I don't get a response and I'll even walk into the store to talk to the manager and they will say I lack job experience. When I apply for internships or volunteer opportunities they are always full.. I've applied to so many different places and I just don't know what to do. I have a 3.4 gpa but it looks like I'm going to fail a couple classes this semester which will really screw me over. I'm honestly really bored with life. I've tried so hard to get a job. A minimum wage job and I don't even qualify for that. I've never done drugs, not even marijuana. I don't drink and I don't even go to parties (mainly because i have no friends after highschool) I sit in my house almost 24 hours a day for almost my whole life. I'm getting so depressed that I'm starting to have suicidal thoughts that I can't do anything with my life. I've even went out of my way to create my own business on ebay, amazon, AdSense, etc and all those failed. I've had over 30 business ideas all failed. The only thing I can say is that I'm lucky to not be in debt and that I have literally 26 dollars in my bank account. I feel like I amount to nothing. I've gotten back up on my feet so many times after failing at everything but a human being can only handle so many failures. Should I just kill myself? All I just do is occupy space in this world and don't contribute anything to society. If not what should I do with my life. What other options do I have left. I'm considering military as my last resort. If I continue to sit here and do nothing I'll end myself. I want to live.

many very successful people started as you are now.
You will eventually find the 'niche' at which you will succeed.

The most important lesson I think you should learn from this is that it's never too late. NEVER EVER. Even when you're 70 or older, well, old people can still have dreams and goals. So ask yourself, what is your goal? What would you like to be able to say to yourself when you're on your deathbed. When your life flashes before your eyes (sorry for the cliché here), what good moments would you like to relive?

You're still in college. You've still got lots of time to do the things you want to. First of all, I want you to work towards improving your grades in school. I mean it. If you're getting distracted with the internet or something, well you've got to get your life back in order. Look, nobody can ultimately help you if you don't want to help yourself. Get off your seat and DO something about this. I know you want to change it, I know you're trying. You've just got to realise that once you work up to the point when everything/most things seem impossible, that's where you SHOULD NOT stop. Most people don't realise how close they are to success because they give up too early. I don't want you to do that.

So improve your grades, and hopefully when you graduate, you'll be able to get at least some of the internships/jobs that you actually like. Don't settle for less; you deserve to do what you want with your life. Now do you honestly want to carry on like this: having no friends and having suicidal thoughts? I'm urging you, it's better to have try over and over again than to end your life right now.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take.

And as I can see it now, you've got as many shots as you want, so take 'em all, man. Better to know that you have tried and failed, than to never have tried at all. Powerful self-discipline; that's what you've got to develop. The only way to get good grades is not to slack off; the hard-workers are the ones who ultimately get what they want, and there's no reason why you shouldn't be one of them too. Personally I think it's too early to start your own business now; you've got school to concentrate on. It's a good idea for the future though; you can use what you've learned in college to improve on it. Don't get discouraged by your failures; they're merely another opportunity to try again.

I know you can do it, dude. But it's no use if you don't think you can. So I want you to believe in yourself--promise me at least that--because you shouldn't ever underestimate the power of your own mind. If you need to talk, I'm on Twitter (@CandzG). Good luck!
