You can do it on the server side, depends on what programming language (PHP you can use cURL or fopen())
or you can use client side javascript to display updates from twitter. For example: http://remysharp.com/2007/05/18/add-twit...p-by-step/ put twitter.js in your website, and call it from the page you want it to be displayed. Ads |

Good question and great idea, here is your answer.
1. Logon to Twitter 2. Follow @BodyByChocolate (Well, I guess this one isn't necessary but it is a really REALLY good idea.) 3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose "APPS" 4. Seclet "WIDGETS" from the options provided HOT TIP: I also recommend these third party apps from that same page on Twitter: * Twitteriffic * TWhirl * TweetDeck * Google Desktop 5. Choose the platform you would like to work with. * If you have a blog platform then follow that trail. * Choose other to get the code for your own website. 6. From here follow whichever path to your desired result that makes sense for you. Don't miss the "continue" button at the bottom as that will provide you with more options to consider adding to your website. I hope the above helps you to reach your goals of adding a cool Twitter widget to your website. Here is how the results look on my own website. ===> http://www.bodybychocolates.com/xo/gs/endulge.htm Middle right hand side next to video information. There are quite a few ways to put your twitter updates on your website.
1) Twitter RSS 2) Twitter Widgets 3) Bonus - Twitsy 1) Twitter RSS: Simple log into your twitter account on the web. Click on your username, scroll down on the right and you will see 'RSS'. Click on RSS and use that link on your webpage. Example: http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/9302872.rss 2) Twitter Widgets: Log into Twitter scroll to the very bottom of the page and click on 'Goodies'. Choose which one you like and simply copy and past the code to your website. 3) Bonus - This is an easy way to include pictures you have uploaded to Twitter in an easy and automated fashion. Go to http://twicsy.com and type in your twitter username. You will see all of the pictures you have uploaded through twitter. Now scroll to the right and click on the 'RSS' button. Now you can use this automatically updated link of your tiwtter pictures. Feel free to email me with any questions |
