Shoul I get an ipa 4 or ipad mini?

I will be using them mostly for watching youtube videos, musics, Netflix, facebook, twitter, monopoly, and some web surfing. Which one would be better for me for the mentioned things above? Price doesn't matter for me as I have a full time job. Right now I'm using an iphone 5 and 4s if that matters. I also have an iPod touch 5g. I was thinking about the ipad 3 but my friends have told me that the ipad 3 is much slower than the ipad 4 due to the ipad 4's a6 chip and the ipad 3's a5 chip. Do not call me an apple fanboy just because I like their stuff more than the "android" phones. I don't care about the Samsung galaxy s3 and their tablets either. In my opinion Samsung phones and tablets are ugly. So back to my question, which one would suit me more and would be better bang for my buck? No trolls please, thanks alot.

If you can afford the iPad 4, then get it. Better processor, more clear display, and bigger screen.
