How do you disable facebook chat on an android phone?
When I get on the facebook app on my phone i'm available to chat, I don't like to use chat so I'm usually not on it on the computer. But on the app it make me always on & sometimes people will message me without my knowing so it looks like I'm iignoring them. Is there a way I can put myself as unavailable?

you go to your market from your menu.....search the app "facebook chat" click on it the app that you wanted to disable ....then click uninstall..hope this helped
