What's going on between Blood On The Dance Floor and New Years Day?
I saw this whole feud on twitter and I'm confused. I guess Ashley Costello said something about Dahvie Vanity bullying her or raping her (I know he wouldn't do that). I wanna know what all was said....

BOTDF/NYD Opinion.

I don’t really know much about what’s going on between New Years’ Day and Blood on the Dance Floor right now, but I just really don’t care at this point.

Was what Ashley said true? I don’t know. But based off of my own experiences with Dahvie and Jayy, every time I’ve seen them and been able to talk to them even a little they’ve been completely sweet and friendly to me. I’m not entirely sure what she means by ‘bullying’ her, since she didn’t really elaborate much on that, but I’ve never seen them intentionally treat a fan badly at all - even those that were needlessly rude or clingy. I don’t know what it is with everyone and the whole ‘Dahvie is a pedophile’ thing, seeing as this happened before with Jessi Slaughter and she herself said it was all bullshit. Yes, he does joke around (sexually) a lot. Yes, there are underage children at his shows. But let’s be honest, if they listen to BOTDF’s music at twelve years old then I’m pretty sure a few dick jokes won’t phase them much at all.

There is a difference between rape/molestation and jokes. I’ve never felt unsafe in Dahvie’s presence, and neither has anybody I know. Jayy can be a bit intimidating, that’s true, but neither of them act like assholes to the fans at all.

I’ve seen underage girls throw themselves at Dahvie. This goes the same for probably every celebrity that’s ever lived. It happens, and he’s just politely told them to back away a little bit so he could sign their merch and maybe talk to them a little.

Maybe I’m a little bit biased, seeing as I’d never heard of NYD before this tour and Ash Costello before this incident. But sure, Ashley, I’ll be one of those fangirls that just ‘don’t understand’ him the way she does. I don’t know him. But I know how I feel about his behavior and how he’s treated me, and there’s nothing negative there.
