Need advice with my guy "friend"? Please help!!?

((i know its long!)) Ok so im a girl and I started talking to this guy on twitter. He's my best friends(that is a girl) best friend and she wanted me to weird him out so I was just saying weird things to him and he thought they were funny and stuff. Then we started direct messaging and he would reply and I would just ask him some random questions and some actual questions that I was curious to know because i was trying to get to know him. We started talking almost everyday. (Sometimes he would message me first) And my best friend was like omg he's so weirded out by you haha. And i was like whatever and I asked him if he thought I was weird or annoying and he said I wasn't so I was like ok that's good. Then my best friend was like you guys should meet! and stuff and i was like ok that sounds cool since he seems nice and funny, so I've been asking him to hangout at the mall or something (all 3 of us) and he kept saying no and that he hates the mall. So I recently asked him because we were trying to plan the weekend and wanted to know if he would come and obviously he said no. And I was like why? We all hate the mall just suck it up and come! (Because I thought the reason he wasn't coming was just the mall) but then he says "its not the mall just leave me ALONE!! I mean in the nicest way possible" then I responded with "hahahah k" ( because he could think I'm joking or could be serious)
Ps we are both sophomores in high school

I don't know of there's a family thing or something going on that he didn't tell me?
Does he just want me to stop talking to him all together? Or just about going places?
I don't know if I should keep talking to him or not? PLEASE HELPP!!

He doesn't go to my school, he goes to my best friends school. I don't really want to tell her about this because I don't know how she'll react or what...
I have been bugging him kind of a lot to hang out and it is mostly my fault, but was it that annoying that he doesn't want to talk to me anymore? And I used to go to the same school as him in elementary school but we didn't even know each other and then I moved to a different school, so we have really never met before

did y'all meet online?? you shouldn't meet strangers online bcuz you never know what they are up to. if y'all actually know each other and go to the same school and stuff, then you should just ask one of his friends if he is mad at you. but once again u shouldn't meet strangers online

Don't read too much into things... Have you met him before? Or your friend? If yes then try remember what he's like in person. If not then don't bother wasting your time. If he's playing games, being indirect then he won't do your state of mind any good. Cut your losses and let him make the move.

Don't keep talking to him there are tons of guys in the world who would suck it up and go to the mall with you... have you ever seen the movie hes just not that into you, you should watch it... it happens to all of us but soon you will truely meet a boy who is head over heels in love with you and will not only take you to the mall but buy you everything in the mall haha but stop talking to him if he wants to talk he will hit you up don't show him that your into him even if it kills you... sit back relax and let the boys come to you! as far as your best friend is he is her best friend too then she should have your back and already have told you all this... don't be their entertainment! just because they are bored on twitter.

TO be honest with you, it sounds to me like this friend of yours that's the girl. Likes the guy friend of yours .. Think about how weird she gets when you tell her you guys were talking. then when you tell her you guys were talking and all she tells you is he thinks your weird? Now SHE comes up with the idea to go to the mall. Im sorry hunnie but girls are vicious. I have been through this before. If she liked him first but was to shy or whatever to tell him. and now obviously it sounds like you like him, and if he didn't like you he wouldn't have even spoken to you like that. Guys are different then girls. They don't pretend everything is ok when its not. So my thought is she probably said something to him and now he is being weird with you because of her.
