twitter follower limit? how to get around it?

So i'm following 546 people and it says I hit my 2000 limit and i have 666 followers so how do i go about getting rid of this thing? if i just wait 24 hourrs will it go away? PLEASE HELP

Sorry Twitter has this cap on accounts. Basically once you hit the 2000 you have to have a certain ratio of following to followers. Unless your a celebrity.

There is a way round this though. have you tried purchasing a twitter account? my account was purchased through a seller on ebay and I got a twitter account with almost 40 000 followers or so for $20. I really liked this because you know the followers are real and you just customize the account. Youre basically just purchasing an account once owned by some sort of twitter celebrity. Its the lazy mans way out but in my opnion is the most worth it. and I think the seller is 100% on ebay as well.

This sounds like a daily Twitter cap. However, it should go away within a day if this is all it is.
