How do I block someone from following me on Twitter?

There is this person who's following me, and I don't want to be followed by her (for private reasons), so I blocked her, but she still shows up on my "followers" list, even though I already blocked her from following me.

How do you block someone from following you on Twitter?

I don't know, i have never used twitter and dont want to.

You go to their profile and choose the option "Block Spammer".
If she's not disappearing from your followers list, this may just be a cache issue or Twitter itself may not have updated your followers list yet. Clear your cookies and cache from your browser and check again.
Test this by blocking another person that followers you - See if the same thing happens to their account.

Another precaution you can take and making your Account Private so that others can't spy on your tweets and you have to approve them before they can follow you. Always a good idea if you have people who you don't want following you. Especially when they can just make a new account.
