where do I find people if I want to start a podcast?

I'm interested in starting a podcast (either audio or video) but I don't know where I can go to meet people who would be interested in this. I'm thinking just two or three people discussing news stories and the opinions they have on them.

So far I've tried omegle (they seemed pretty hostile towards the idea)

First of all make sure you know exactly what you want people to do (Just talking or music?, times, dates, how often) you also need to know how the podcast is going to be broadcast, have your team got to come to your house or a studio? Will they be doing it from home? Do you want some people to talk and some to fill time with music shows? Once you know enough, ask on twitter and find people currently working on internet radio's etc, I am currently a music presenter/dj for an internet radio and we have a team which includes news, music, comedy, sport, debates with listeners with phone lines(friendly) hope this helps.
