How to tag people on your status on facebook moblie for android?

I tired putting the @ before the name, it didnt work

I would check the Android Market > My downloads/My apps and ensure you have the more current versions (it doesn't say "updates available").

If you do have the most current version, typing the @ symbol and the first letter of their first name -should- bring up a list of friends to choose from. I just tried it by typing "@c" and the drop down list went away for a second so I back-spaced the "c" and typed "c" again and the list was there.
