Please help me, I'm scared - am I really being bullied?
Ok, I have a long story, and I hope you'll take the time to listen to me so that I can get to the bottom of this. about an hour ago I got a direct message on Twitter from one of my followers. The girl used to go to my school, and I know her name, although I haven't talked to her much and ?I don't know her very well.

Anyway, the message said (direct quote):
"FYI this profile on twitter http://t.co/T3aHpMv is spreading nasty blogs around about you"
I was scared, but I clicked the link and it went through to this page http://bitly.com/a/warning?url=http%3a%2...ash=TOzy9e that warned me that this page could be "problematic" or dangerous. It then said "or continue at your own risk".

I was too scared to click the link, as I was worried that it might give my laptop a virus. I just wanted to know - is this an actual website spreading mean stuff about me, or is it a common message sent that is scamming me to give me a virus? Please help, I'm worried. Thank you.

this is a phishing page. DO NOT ENTER YOUR TWITTER USERNAME IF YOU HAVE ANY.

More than likely their account was hacked and someone is using it to spam people. They put something like "This job would be great for you!" or "Free vacation giveaway here!"

Don't sweat it. Trust your computer's protection software when you are in doubt. If you're really concerned, ask the friend directly (not through twitter or FB, etc) if they sent the message.

I think this is just a joke.
I mean, when you click it, you will probably ben prompted to a site where something scary comes on your screen.
Like Slenderman or something else.
Just don't click it.
