Why can't I get my yahoo avatar to appear on my icon in yahoo answers?

I created an avatar at yahoo avatar but there is no link to add here. just twitter and facebook.

I'm having the same problem. I suggest you find a picture you like add it to your pictures and then use it as your yahoo avatar or you could always put one up of yourself.

I looked again after a few days and found the avatar I tried to change it to in "update photo" so maybe leave it a while then come back it might be there.

•If you want a cartoon avatar then go to this site.

~ [OPTIONAL] Scroll down a bit and below "Save Changes" you will see a button that says "Change Gender" click on it if you wish to change your gender.

~ Then look at Appearance, Apparel, Extras, Background and Branded.
- Each categories has it's own sub-categories and numbered pages to look through.

~ Make choices from those categories/sub-categories and click on "Save Changes" (Orange Bar)


~ Then return to Yahoo!Answers and click on the big box that says "My Activity"

~ Click on "Edit My Preferences" Quick link: http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about

~ Click on "Update Photo" and choose your avatar and hit "Use Selected" and then hit "Submit"

Now you will have your Yahoo!Avatar as your display pic.

NOTE: It can take up to two days for your Yahoo!Avatar to actually show up. It's a known Yahoo!Answers glitch. It takes time to upload sometimes.
