Is it possible to become a publish author without having a formal degree in that particular field of writing?

please help me. I'm writing a serious revolutionary book in the field of popular science which include Natural-science, mind, psychology, sexuality, demography, anthropology and social science etc. But I have no any formal degree pertaining any of these areas. I hold a bachelor of engineering in Information technology but have extensive interest in the areas described above. you can compare my book with outstanding work of renowned naturalist Charles Darwin. It is serious for me to know that will I be able to attract publishers or literary agents? Also will I be able to get published and sell well?

You don't need any education to be an author, no matter what you're writing.

Nobody cares what degrees you have, or don't have, as long as your work seems profitable.

Based on what you said about your book, I'm not very hopeful. Sounds like hogwash, to be honest. Having no degrees may be fine for publishers, but it hurts your credibility with everyone who isn't profiting from you.

Of course you can become a writer, if you are genuinely interested in the stuff you mentioned. You can nevertheless meet some expert people involved in these studies. Writers do that so often. You can clear any doubts lingering on your mind (if you have any by talking to these people. I hope you have a great idea in your mind. Let it flourish

And about being able to be best seller, you have to write very convincingly.
