places on facebook blackberry wont work?

i updated my facebook on my blackberry storm and the new places app came up for the last icon on the facebook Panel. Every time i use it it says location not available, i got into my options and the box which says share my location with facebook is not ticked and it is faded so i cant tick it?
Any help ?

and update it again
