How could i be this person's friend?

So there's this person lets call them R. R was new to my school about a year ago. I didn't like R cause i thought they was my replacement with lets call this person P. So I just kind of hated R secretly. Now me and P aren't friends anymore doesnt matter why. So in August i was like ok you know i should give R a chance. Its not like i have a reason to be jealous of R anymore since me and P arent friends anymore. I dont have any classes with R. So i decided to add R on Facebook. Talk to them that way you know. But R wouldn't accept my friend request(s) in the end they called me creepy for adding them and threatened me to stay away from them and P. I was like what how did they know about P? Anyway then R told me they forgave me this time. And they tolde P what happened. Few months later i started talking about R and P. So someone heard and told P about what i said D: P yelled at me about what i said about P, not R. But im not sure if R knows it would seem that P probably told them. Anyway the point is how could i be-friend R? I feel like its gonna be really awkward so im kind of nervous. the only way i can contact them now is twitter D:
