why cant I change my profile pic on here 'yahoo.answers'...?

Every time I try and upload a new one to put on it says 'this action has could not be completed because we are currently under maintenance, sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later'

I have tried this about 30 times spacing over a period of 5 months. It really is starting to get a bit in-convenient.

Do you always try this by using the same computer? If so: empty your browser cache by deleting all cookies and temp files, then re-start your machine, because a corrupt cookie may be causing those problems. Problem solved? Fine, if not...

You can use a photo or a Yahoo! cartoon avatar, and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also use those avatars.

Go to: http://profile.yahoo.com/y/settings/privacy/ - make sure your profile isn't hidden, because if it is, your avatar won't show.

If you want a cartoon avatar, go here to create one: http://avatars.yahoo.com/ - then click on "Yahoo!" under "Export your Avatar".

In case you want to use a Facebook or Twitter avatar, you need to link those accounts in the Profile options.

You have several options in case you want a photo avatar:
a) go to your Yahoo! Answers settings at http://answers.yahoo.com/my-activity/edit/about , click "Update photo or avatar",
b) go to your Yahoo! Profile at http://profile.yahoo.com/ , click on the current avatar.
Now upload a picture or choose one of the pics you've uploaded previously.
