What does Girl Power mean to you?

Last week on Britain's Got Talent there was an act were some teenage girl danced around in high heals and waved their hair around alot, they weren't particularly good dancers but afterwards 2 of the judges said it didn't matter because their outfits were showing leg and it was sexy. Simon Cowell said it put them in a position where most of the girl public would hate them.. (I checked Twitter after he said that and most girls agreed with him). Then when the presenters (Ant & Dec) asked the girls they said it was "Girl Power".... My personal opinion is that girl power is not dancing around like slappers in high heals, but it got me thinking.. what is girl power?

well the ''girl power'' is the way agirl can be innocent to u and being intelligient to fakers,the power of turning into a child and also a matured women,the way she ease in ur arms,the way she commands u with love,the way she fights wid the society for recognizion , the cute smile she wears on her face,the way she says i love u and sorry to u...if u r a good admirer i ud melt u no matter how she looks

Yeah Girl Power is girls basically taking control and ruling things, its a marketing ploy to keep both sexes happy.
The group in question will normally behave quite sexually which doesn't impress women as we feel threatened (so I'm lead to believe) but it does impress guys as they like looking at this kind of stuff. So the groups way of getting the female audience to like them is to call their act 'Girl Power'. Making it look like they are only acting all sexual to fool men (whom we know control the media and therefore can pretty much make or break their career).
