I have recently started flirting with this girl - who i have know for a few years from school. She seems to respond positively to my flirting. I have been talking to her through twitter - and in person. I found out that she is ill - she has a cold, headache and she feels as if she has been punched in the stomach. I have said to her that i hope she get better soon and best wishes, also said that this gives her an excuse to sit around being lazy though! She responded well to this, thanked me with a smiley face.

Anyway.. I was wondering if i could direct message (on twitter) - i haven't direct messaged her before, but, as i said, i have talked to her through twitter, but just through standard tweets - her and ask her how she is feeling - Its about 5hrs since i found out, and messaged her before. And ask her if she needs to rant, and that I'm all ears.

Is this a bit too caring/whatever, as i am obvious not going out with her.. Also would you girls like a guy to do this to you if you were ill? Also how long do you think i should wait before messaging her?
