How do I make my new baking blog popular?
My roommate and I just started a baking blog. We've gotten a fair few pageviews but mainly by posting on our facebook newsfeed. We would like to get more views from other sources and we would also like to get comments because we haven't gotten any yet. How would go about doing this? The blog is widbake.blogspot.com if you wish to look, we're very open to construvtive criticism on how we can make it better!

Spam ads for your site everywhere. Everything you can get ahold of, spam it. Don't feel bad, millions of people do it. Spam like there's no tomorrow.

I really like it! The web design is great. Congrats.

-To try to popularize your blog, try using Twitter. Facebook and Twitter should really get it out there!

- Make some fliers! Include pink (that's what is all over your site) and make it really pop. Tell us what your blog is all about. Include some items from your "Recipe Box". BTW you should really try to expand your recipes. I'm sure you know that but just saying.

- The simplest way to get people to do something is an incentive. Get certain customers to sample each recipe for free. Something to that effect. For example, the first 5 people to post comments will get 1 serving of each recipe at no cost. You know?

I'd love to make the BAKED APPLE CINNAMON DONUTS!

Very delicious blog I like it! I will tell you tho, that it takes time to promote and build up blog traffic and comments. Some things you can do to help get going are...

- write & distribute articles about your site
- social market your site i.e. twitter, facebook, etc.
- build relevant backlinks to your site
- distribute your rss feed(s) everywhere
- post in forums

and anything else you can think of to get the word out!

And if you want quicker results, you can just buy traffic and comments from a site like bulkcomments.net
