How can I get more followers on twitter?

Me and my friend are starting a youtube channel tomorrow. I made us a twitter but I wanted to get some recognition. I know people have gotta work up towards getting their followers up but I wondered if there was any lists or anything you can add your name onto.

Try to tweet that are related to what business you are in. The more people can see your tweets, the more chances you will have more follower. Or Hire as SMM officer.
