How do Colleges Search For You Online?

Ok, I do not have a Facebook or a Twitter account, but I do have some pictures posted of me on a forum site, but my name is not attached to either of them. I'm only a junior and when I apply for colleges next year, how likely is it that these pictures will be discovered? They don't contain any sexual or drug references in them, and once again my name is not known on that site. Do they have facial recognition technology? Just curious

I don't think they search anybody online. I am not sure they even read the recommendation letters truly.
