Is there a new movie in the making after Resident Evil Retribution?

Does anyone know if the producers are working on a new Resident Evil Film? If so, do you have any information regarding when it will be due for release?

I've already lost track of how many they've made so far! But in answer to your question i would say YES.As long as they continue making big money hollywood will keep spewing them out.Next one will probably be within the next year or two.

Yes there is, Sony made the franchise a deal for a 6th and 7th movie. Although in the us they did not made good money as it was expected, resident evil was internationally the #1 movie; so they are making a good deal of money; but it was not as succesful as afterlife. Most rumours say Paul Anderson will make the 6th movie the end of the franchise , will be on theaters on 2015 (there is no storyline yet) and 7th movie will be a reboot. But i will defenetively not watch a movie without Alice!. Milla Jovovich always keeps the fans updated so you can yet her twitter her any more news of the upcoming movie.
