How to advertise an online business?
I am currently founding an online business designed to provide data analytics and business survey research to a wide array of small-scale businesses that would normally be unable to afford such market research. Can anyone suggest some good sites or methods to advertise this business online and attract customers? Serious answers only please. Thank you.

One good thing, the best online advertising Google "sponsored search" Adwords ads pricing is competitive bid based, your relatively obscure subject is more likely to get clicks for perhaps 50 cents while a diet plan marketer might pay $3 for a click.

A basic step in using such advertising is to research what related phrases people are actually searching for, ad campaigns are setup to only show ads when selected keywords are searched.

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
[Exact Match] option gives the most realistic volume estimates.

If you have an Adwords account these keyword searches net 800 results instead of the 100 to unregistered users. (you might find $50 - $100 first time user only vouchers for Adwords advertising)

Even if you don't use their advertising, the intelligence you can collect by seeing what people are searching for will be helpful, incorporating thee related phrases in your content, in natural way, can help search ranking, which brings more 'free' search traffic.

Participating in forums where your sort of stuff is discussed may help, after you are a proven 'good citizen' you are often allowed to place a promotional 'signature link' in your forum posts.

Be sure to examine competing sites to get a feel for the design standards your site will have to match.

Hi,

You can advertise your business online and offline both ways. If you want to advertise your business online then SEO is the best option for advertising and you can also attract more customer but offline way is more effective for advertising in a short time period. Brochures are very helpful in a business. With you, you will carry at least a dozen brochures of the products you found good, you will take them home and then have a discussion at length regarding who is offering what, and in comparing features. Customers before buying a product gets the brochure which not only explains the whole product, but also gives its uses, features and everything the product promises, when bought in real. Brochures are not only of products, but are also made for any upcoming projects. So, You can design a brochure in good design and with whole information about your business. If its your start, you should make a small budget for advertising on Google adwords. Selects some good websites from tool for Network Dispaly advertising. Run adds for atleast 2 weeks and review your clicks and impression. If some websites sent you more impressions but less click, Remove that website from your link. Keep continue this practice for 6 months. At the end you will get a précised list of websites where you can run your ads. Also analyse your close competitors and try to get links from there.

These tips are little expensive and time consuming so you should add live chat on your website to reply your customers. I recommend you try Live2Support on your website for live chat.
