why do US govrnmnt wonder if our intelligence gatherin sources predicted the egyptian uprising?
when military people in us arent allowed to read wikileaks. and facebook and twitter chatter is all public and everyone can read whats being said...

Most of our intelligence agencies rely heavily on electronic intelligence gathering vs. human obtained information. Egypt's government has been a staunch US ally for close to 30 years and the CIA placed limited resources in that country except for its interrogation efforts of foreign nationals suspected of terrorism (Egypt would use extreme methods not allowed in the US).

because our poor excuse for a government in the last 40 years has restricted the CIA ,that they are limited

The US intelligence agencies did not foresee the uprisings in either Egypt or Tunisia.
