The electorate is a changing demographic, it's not mostly white voters anymore (75% down to 71%), it's a somewhat white vote now, which wasn't enough to pull off a win this election. The marginal vote of America is no longer decided by mostly white voters, it is decided by the minority vote. The marginal vote will trend Democrat, on account of the economy being worse off in the next 4 years according to accumulating national debt - and people in these voting margins wanting more help in the form of food stamps and subsidized "emergency" health care in increasingly larger US cities. Inflation-based price creep in our goods and services will slowly cheapen American life, and our investments will be worth less in a world market. Our power and influence in the world will wane because our gas/energy prices will increase and will negatively impact us at a community level.

Should the Republican party make like we are selling free stuff, sell to the minority vote via Twitter, like Obama did to win this election? Obama will tax the wealthy all to hell, who are the job creators and the (re-)investors in America and jobs. He will encourage union labor and socialize the people.

OK, if the Republicans want to chop your arm off at the shoulder, would a good 'compromise' be at the elbow? Maybe at the wrist is a better 'compromise'?

No.

Because Republicans seem to forget that Democrats and Independents believe in God, believe in family values, believes that a woman can be either pro-life or pro-choice (not just pro-life), etc.

So why compromise them?
