Am I a loner because I like to be alone?

I'm 15 years old, and a sophomore in high school. In school I have a lot of friends and I'm always with people and laughing and being social. I have a job and at work I am very social and talk to everyone (coworkers, customers, ect.) And also participate in the school musical, which I do to meet new people. But as soon as I get home I just want to be alone. I never have anyone over to my house even during the summer ( I work alot over the summer) or the winter breaks. I see on places like twitter and instagram and facebook that everyone else is hanging out at each others houses or going shopping and I'm just sitting at home alone I sometimes text my school friends but I usually like to be completely alone. So back to the point, Am I a loner? and if so is it a bad thing?

No your not a loner. A loner is someone who is always alone with no friends and just prefers to always be alone. You just like being alone during your free time, and there's nothing wrong with that.
