I got rid of my facebook 2 years ago and I just signed up and none of my friends hardly even use it anymore, what does everyone use now- Twitter? Something else?

The wall feature is just a big turn off on facebook. So, most of them are getting out of this social networking site. Moreover, privacy issue is a real concern and in some countries like India, posting messages for fun can also land you in jail.

Twitter is picking up and so may be it is the next big thing after facebook.

I don't know anyone that uses facebook that much anymore. You get tired of all the frivolous posts after awhile. I really don't care that someone stopped into McDonald's for lunch and the menu items eaten. Then they sat at the doctor's office for an hour around a bunch of sick, coughing, sneezing people, waiting to see the doctor. ( It is the flu season! ) Big turn off these days! Twitter seems to be doing better, but it's really much of the same old same old!
