It's http://bluepaperbrainbox.blogspot.co.uk/

I'm a young writer and want to find others which have a similar passion to my own... but I don't know how to go about it! Sad

Im rather young too. Im 13 and all I can say is that the only career i can think of is an author. I want nothing more to finish the novel I am working on, and get it published so i can share my talent with the public

attract people to your blog via search engines.
be more tacticle with word and phrase choice to get more hits and higher ranked hits in search engines. post on other blogs on the same sight, comments, replys etc to let their readers link back to yours.

basicaly advertise and attract readers however you can.

Content, and focus.

You need to define your focus, make it clear to yourself and your readers what your blog is about. Content is also needed, and lots of it. Some examples of your writing along with some thoughts about what you are writing about would be good additions.

Write, about once a week, articles or stories of more than 1,000 words. Try once a month or so to write something closer to 5,000 words as a page instead of a post. Stay within your focus when writing longer articles.

Set up a newsletter, and an RSS feed. Create a Twitter account, and a Facebook Fanpage. Place links for all these things in your sidebar, towards the top. Don't rush into doing these things, learn about them first, and do them right the first time. You may need to get paid hosting and a more advanced theme (template) to properly arrange your page (the layout).

Submit articles and stories to various places around the web. You will have to research which places are best for you. Your submissions should have a link back to your blog either in the author profile, or at the bottom of the submission (both if you can get them).

Ask your family and friends to visit your blog, and to leave a comment. Also have them drop by your submissions.

Once you have a few months worth of content, and at least one of an RSS, Twitter, Fanpage, or newsletter, you can start to mention your own blog on other people's blogs. Be reasonable, don't go spamming their pages or you'll get a bad reputation. Instead, try to add to the conversation with something other than a 'great post' kind of comment. Think, and get others thinking.

Encourage your visitors to sign up so that you can stay in contact with them. Tell them to share your site with others. Don't ask them, tell them, and don't qualify it with an 'if you like' or 'if they might like'.

It takes time to get a good following. Give your future readers something worth reading.

The best way is to have useful content and people will naturally come to read it. You can try looking at tutorials online to help you.
