I have a question about twitter..?

No I am not stupid I know how to use twitter but the question I have is why I can't sign out on the app? So I had lost my iPod way back when and I bought a new one from a pawn shop and wiped the entire iPod. Nothing was left on it. So I downloaded all my apps and music and such and one of my apps was twitter. So I signed into mine and such and recently it switched onto the old owners twitter account and I don't honestly know what happened to make it go on hers! I didn't sign out of mine or anything and now it won't let me sign out of hers! I've signed into mine over the Internet on my iPod and tapped the little thing for it to bring me over to the app and it was still on hers. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it multiple times and yet it stays and won't allow me to sign out!! What should I do?
