Evil people will overcome any obstacle to get what they want. Thus, any attempt to stop them is wasteful?

Evil people will overcome any obstacle to get what they want. Thus, any attempt to stop them is wasteful and useless.

We should all surrender to despair, and vote republican.

Now you're making sense! Renounce liberalism and you might be saved!

Vote Republican? You kidding? Let's all become anarchists, every man for himself! No government to stop you from shooting a ton of innocent children!

When evil, powerful people can't be stopped, we can at least slow them down, prank them, and laugh in their faces.

Why vote Republican? They are already rigging the votes: http://harpers.org/archive/2012/11/how-t...-election/

But we have Anonymous and other activist groups who poke at the GOP and other rightwingnuts.

While Anonymous hasn't provided proof that they hacked into GOP computer systems and prevented them from "adjusting" the totals in swing states, many of us believe that their letter warning that they would stop the fraud is what set Karl Rove off on election day, when he just refused to believe that Obama won Ohio. He might have believed his hackers were thwarted by the Anonymous hacktivists.

It is heartwarming to know that we have liberal hacktivists kicking wingnut ass this past week. Another hacktivist group broke into Twitter and email accounts belonging to the Westboro Baptist Church after the church announced plan to picket funerals in Newtown, CT.

Do not surrender to despair!
