If you have Facebook on your phone does it cost to use it?

I've got a contract phone with Facebook, MSN, Twitter and more installed on there and I got 1GB of internet on it but will it cost to use it? I heard if your outside you will be charged ridicules rates and how can I tell if I'm in a WI-FI zone or not?

Depends on the phone you have. You will NOT be charged for the internet usage by Facebook AT ALL until the 1 GB monthly quota is over. If you exceed 1 GB a month, then yes you would be charged. Or else you wouldn't be.
About the WiFi, you have to have a WiFi enabled phone for using wireless internet. If you have a wireless connection at home, you may use your phone with your computer's wireless internet connection. At other places, such as McDonald's, some of them provide free public WiFi, and can be used.

If you have 1GB internet you can use any application that access the internet for free until you have used up the 1GB of data. If you dont watch videos on your phone from the internet then you are going to have a very hard time going over 1GB of data in my opinion also if you are connected to a wifi connection then facebook twitter and other apps will not use data from your cell phone plan so they will be completely free. As far as knowing if you are connected to wifi. First if you dont know you probably arent but a general way to tell is on the top of the screen there should be about five bars that look similar to your signal coverage except they will be running horizontal instead of vertically.
