i got this message from a japanese actress [through twitter] and i don't understand what this message says. can someone please translate this, " 言葉というのは受け取る人次第。やさしい言葉をかけたつã‚​‚りでも受け取る人が傷ついたならそれは傷つく言葉。", to english? thanks ^^

Actual translation: That man, upon receiving word. The injured person will receive several kind words.

So, the first sentence is something like:

1st sentence - "Words are taken differently depending upon the person who receive them."

2nd sentence is not complete but I think she meant to say "The words that were intended as kind words could be taken "hurtful" by the person who are hurt."
