What's the job market like for Environmental Engineers?
I want to get my grad degree in Environmental Engineering, but have a BA in a social science.

1) Can I get accepted to a Masters program in Environmental Engineering if my degree is social sciences and I have little experience.

2) I want to go into sustainable development in developing nations, is there a job market for Environmental Engineers in this field?

3) Is the math feasible for someone who hasn't taken a math class in four years?

Impossible

1. No grad school will accept. Engineering grad schools usually only take engineers.....or students with a physical science degree.

They will accept you ....but u would most likely have to do about 80 to 100 credits of pre req. ......this is not a good idea.

These are the requirements for most grad engineering schools

Math:
Calculus I, II, III, Diff Equations

Physics :(calculus based)
Physics I, II

Chemistry:
Chem I and II, organic chemistry

Engineering Science
Statics
Dynamics
Engineering computer design
Fluid Mechanics
Soil Mechanics
Hydraulics and Hydrology
Mechanics of Solids
...to name a few

If your really interested in design ....I would suggest going back to get another BS in engineering (environmental, civil, or mechanical)

If u dont want to do that .

U can go to grad school for environmental science or environmental planning.

Much less pre req to get in environmental planning grad schools
