Has anyone ever successfully used social media to find themselves a spouse?
Has anyone ever effectively used services like Facebook, Twitter etc to find marriage prospects and eventually a spouse?

Interesting question. If social media has used to reconnect with the past, I'm sure there's been some relationships out of it...but twitter...idk.

The term "social media" was not the same as today. I met my dear wife 24 years ago when she answered an ad I put in the "personals" section of a local weekly newspaper. We married, and have just begun our 23rd happy year on our way to forever together.

Yes, it happens all the time. I found my gf through Yahoo 360. We've been together for over 5 years. Marriage? We have discussed it and we are sure it could happen--more yes, than no. There are many factors involved in a marriage discussion. But, yes, serious relationships that lead to marriage has occured via social media outlets.
