How to promote my blog?

Ok so I've made a blog for a while now and not many people are coming to see my blog. I have got a 30 trial with a paid advertising service and it improves the site views dramatically but after that, I know the views will go down again, how do I maintain the traffic after the advertising expires after 30 days and what ways could I promote my blog?
Yes I write posts daily and I have been to pingomatic.

Please help! (It's a photography blog by the way. )

Make business cards........Go to local photography shops, and ask if you can leave a stack at the front desk. Give them out to your friends, to give out to other people.
Sign up for facebook, twitter, and myspace, even youtube. Get your name out there, and the site of your blog.

Search up other very popular photography blogs, and comment on there, asking how they got to be so widely known, they could give you some amazing advice and even help spread the word.

Or just keep posting on yahoo answers, hopefully you'll get more visitors on your website? Lol. The best of luck to you.
