How do I make twitter unsync from my contacts?

People I know follow me on twitter, and when I ask how they found it, they said that since I was in their contacts, it came up as a suggestion. How do I stop that from happening? How do I unsync my twitter from my contacts?
HEY so I found the answer to this myself. For anyone wondering, Settings>Mobile>Uncheck the box "Let others find me by my phone number".
