Why don't I get texts from Facebook?

I don't have my account on Facebook set up to get text alerts but someone has been hacking my Facebook and I can't get on unless I verify with a phone number. Every time I enter mine, it won't send me the code to be verified. It sends to my moms phone though but I can't send it to hers anymore because she set her Facebook up to receive text alerts. I don't get texts from Twitter anymore either and I did have mobile set up for that. It's annoying -_________-

If you want to get text messages from Facebook, try this:

Go to Account Settings
On the left-hand side of the screen, you should see 'Notifications'. Click on this, and it will take you to the Notifications settings.
In here you can edit how you receive notifications, text messages, and who you receive notifications from.
