Yes, Twitter is a public place where everyone can read you and if you're a person with hundreds of thousands of followers like Trump , that's equivalent of being in a street with a loud speaker on front of hundreds of thousands of people and calling for a revolution.That's the same thing and it's not legal.

He disrespected the majority of Americans.

Did you support Rick Santorum? He also said free speech is dangerious. Why is it a forgenor can come over here and talk shit about America but an American can't say anything that you politically disagree with. Are you that much a hypocrite over everything? The best political speech ever came from a bad ass comedian named George Carlin that explains everything you need to know about modern day politics. The first admendment has no limits.
