Why Apple released the LTE version of the iPad Mini a month later?
Hi guys,

I am from the UK and have ordered my iPad Mini LTE from Apple, which is due to arrive on 4th December but I am interested to know why they released the LTE version a month later (in America I think but which will be a month and a half in the UK) or the WiFi a month early?

I just think that, as the iPad Mini is designed for people who will be taking it with them out and about rather than just at home, they will almost all require LTE as most of the features on the iPad require it. Not to mention the fact that the LTE version cost a large amount more, about £100 I think. Why design a product for a certain market and leave them feeling left behind because they went for the option (LTE) which enhances the product and is necessary for some users when they've paid more money? Just doesn't seem right or fair to me as all my friends already have the iPad Mini and I'm still waiting for mine just because I wanted the LTE version which has put more money in Apple's pockets. If anything, I feel the LTE should have been released first.

I know it's to do with manufacturing and supply abilities but surely you'd have thought a company the size of Apple would have known that before and released them both together?

Thanks in advance for all replies!
