Find a nearby art gallery/store, and the should buy it if its decent, or you can try selling it on eBay.

Or throw it at rich people.

I believe the best thing to do, if you’re serious about selling art is to create a deviantart account, buy a subscription and begin opening it for some commissions.

The first order of business would be to get some popularity, you should put up some art that you’re not selling, to showcase your skill and style.

You should have reasonable prices and etc.
If you’re around an area that realizes artistic ability, go to any potential buyers.
When beginning in the artistic industry, like many others you have to be serious about it and really want it.

You'll never be able to jump right in and expect to be known as the next artistic genius, so don't get discouraged if becoming a raging subject isn't the first thing people classify you as.

But if you really want it, don't give up.
(If you don't know what deviant art is it's a website which offers artists a place to showcase art here’s a link Good Luck)

You could always talk to local stores and Gallery and show them your work and if they like it they will sell it there or let you sell it there (displays of art work will draw in other customer to their shops) or you could sell it on Ebay or other buying and selling workshops or make a booth in a shopping area (with store permission) and let people who walk by see if they wanna buy it.

You can also add the Ebay button to your official website like this artist did, look under each picture http://kimsartblog.blogspot.com/

HOW TO SELL PRINTS OF YOUR ORIGINAL ARTWORKS
Make your original artwork into a DIGITAL IMAGE by using a digital camera to photograph it or using a scanner to scan it. Upload those digital images to these sites to make money. Fast forward the video to 3:00 to read the info. Also read the IMPORTANT TIPS starting at 5:32, this info applies to all DIGITAL IMAGES. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5LhMCAK4...42RUPurxE=

MARKETING TIPS:
1. Get an OFFICIAL WEBSITE to display your artwork. When you are talking to people and the subject of art comes up, they are going to want to see it. Plus, people always surf the internet looking for artists, so by getting a website you increase your chances of someone finding your art.

Learn "search engine optimization", which is the process of improving the visibility of a website in search engines. If your website is ranked high in search results, it will more than likely get alot of visitors. Google search the words "search engine optimization" for more information or buy a book on the subject at Amazon website.

2. Open an account on photo sharing or video sharing websites (YouTube, Flickr, DeviantArt, etc.) that gets HIGH volumes of traffic everyday! Post your BEST artworks on these sites. The goal is to remain active by posting comments to get more exposure! If you post comments on other people's pictures or videos, they will more than likely check out your account as well. Do not Spam! Your comment should be about the person's picture/video! After each comment, type your name, Example: John Doe, Watercolor Artist. Also, use as MANY tags as possible so your photos/videos can be found by alot of people! Use a picture of your BEST ARTWORK as your AVATAR. You can't state that you sell artwork on these sites because they generally don't allow commercialism, so simply type your email or your official website address under your profile, so people can contact you directly about your artwork.

3. Join Facebook. Create an account that has an art word in it, Example: Go to Facebook and search the words ART, ARTIST, DRAWING, PAINTING, WATERCOLOR, etc..... You will see alot of artists that come up. Visitors come to Facebook and they will generally type in art words to find artists. Also, these art accounts will generally allow you to be friends quickly and post comments, which can be used to your advantage and to gain more exposure.

4. Ask your family/friends to post a picture of your art and a link to your website on their personal website or blog site to get more exposure.

5. Always carry business cards with you! When the subject of art comes up or you think someone might like to know about your art, give them your business card. Your business card should have your contact info and a picture of your art on it.
