how come they don't follow back?

I just made a twitter and im following some random people and how do I have them follow back I want more followers then I want to be following ? help how do I get a bunch of followers

If they followed everybody who followed them, they wouldn't have time to do anything else. Imagine if you get your 'bunch of followers'. How many could you follow back? Five? Ten? One hundred? What if you get a thousand followers but you can only follow ten back? What happens to the other 990 followers you don't follow back? And how do you chose which 10 to follow?

People have to enjoy following you before they will. If they don't think you're worth following, you can't make them.
