Twitter follow and unfollow delima!?

Ok so awhile back I followed someone on twitter we will call them #oomf..so I followed #oomf and I saw them tweet but didn't follow back so I unfollowed them. Then I saw #oomf on my timeline cause someone retweeted them and I accidently pressed the follow button. I swear I didn't mean to. Idk what to do because I don't want to seem like a stalker or thirsty for them to follow me. Should I unfollow #oomf again. And also if you follow someone and unfollow them on twitter before they see will they know you followed them in the first place?

No, they will never know unless they manually go and check for you in their followers list. Relax
