i need ideas on how to get people to join a site where u can get stuff for the things you do, any tips?

Advertise your site, start a facebook page for the site, and make sure the site has a lure to it that attracts the viewer.

1. You must offer unique value - either something people can't get elsewhere or something else unique (such as unbiased reviews or free training). Those incentives you offer must be what people want. And the perceived value of those incentives must seriously exceed the visitors perception of the effort they will have to put out.
2. "Lipstick on a pig" won't sell. Your product or service must be of high quality.
3. Your website must create trust in the mind of your visitors. Use testimonials, trust symbols, "no malware" symbols, etc.
4. Once you have optimized your site, you must market it using organic search or paid search and social networks, forums, web 2.0 sites, videos, etc. All the well-known methods. Careful market niche research should be used to identify the people most interested in your offer and you must learn how they think, such that your offer resonates with their needs, desires, fears, etc.
