What are the environmental, social, economic and political effects of earthquakes?
It would be even more helpful if you could relate these effects to either the Haiti or Chilean earthquake. Thanks (: please give examples for each heading not just 'devastation' you retarded duck Ads |

Devastation.
Well quite obviously the environment will go to shit such as a possible hurricane or tsunami for coastal countries and even if the country is landlocked, trees and constructions (builings, houses, bridges) will come down causing major damage to infrastructure, injuries/deaths, power outages..etc.which in turn bring chaos into the market as companies and public sectors will be unable to operate. As you can imagine, the social aspect of the earthquake stricken region will also be gloomy. People will go hungry, you will see increased violence (Haiti) highly increased health risk for all citizens as hospitals are not operating and many diseases are spreading. People will turn aganist the government, aganist each other, wealthy nations are often reluctant to reach deeper in their pockets..... Now, please, go fuckyourself. Ads |
