How to downgrade my minecraft xbox 360 version to 1.7?
Hi there, This is a very frustrating topic at the moment because quite frankly I am annoyed. I would like my minecraft xbox version to be put back into 1.7 the way I bought it because i absolutely hate the new minecraft version. I have tried everything, I have tried contacting 4j through twitter, I have even emailed there personal website and they still won't get back to me, Scince mojang had no contact page i dont know what to do anymore, Is there a download to the previous versions on the marketplace? I really want that version again Sad

You can't. On the Xbox, it is not possible to change the versions for several reasons:

1. You can't access the "guts" of Minecraft.
By this, I mean the .minecraft on PC or minecraft in your application support folder on mac. There is no way to access the files that dictate what features minecraft has.
2. You would need a copy of a 1.7 version's files.
If you could somehow access the files in the minecraft folder, there would still be the problem of getting the contents for a 1.7 version.
3. How would you get the files to the Xbox?
Even if the two previous needs are satisfied, how would you get the downloaded files on your computer to the folder on your Xbox? As far as I know, there is no way to connect a computer and gaming console.
4. As far as I know, there is no way to have a downgrade program put on the Xbox marketplace.
This alternative is pretty much out of the question.

Sorry, but it's not possible to downgrade on Xbox, just on computer versions.

P.S. What features do you not like?

Unfortunately it really is pretty much impossible. The only thing you could be is clear the cache on the Xbox 360 which will format Minecraft back to it's original form, however when you connect to the game online it will automatically update your minecraft to the latest update. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
