How should i promote my youtube beauty channel?

I'm starting a beauty channel on youtube and i wanted to promote it somehow. i was thinking of making a twitter account and link them, so i could post updates about my videos through tweets. what do you guys think?

Go on really popular beauty youtubers and write a comment saying, "If anyone enjoys watching these videos, I make similar ones on my channel and I'd really appreciate if you had a look at them. Thank you" or something like that and that sounds good
