Is there anyway to get my name out there for my YouTube channel?

I have used pretty much every method I can think of. I have used Omegle and Chatroulette to get subscribers and it kinda works but not very efficiently... I have used Facebook and Twitter but that doesnt work... I have even used my friends but most of them don't even have a YouTube account they just watch videos. So I am hoping that maybe anyone who reads this post could give me an idea or even drop by and subscribe yourself! If you could that would be awesome!

A tip that I recommend is searching for recently posted videos in your genre, and interacting with unknown people who make similar content to yours.

Example:

You make a zombie video. Search for zombie videos and arrange them by most recent. Find semi-decent videos and comment on them. (Try to be supportive, do not advertise yourself. This part is about them.)

This works for a few reasons.

1. The person you are contacting is a YouTube user. They are not leaving Omegle or Twitter to come to YouTube, they are already there.

2. The person is most likely online. Meaning you are likely to get a swift response.

3. They are likely to share your interests since you found them by searching similar videos.

4. Most people here have low views and low subscribers. They are usually more interactive because they are curious who you are and how you found their video.


OTHER TIPS:

If you want to spend some money, Promoting your video can help if you do it right. I gained a couple.

Be topical. Topical videos are searched a lot more than anything you can make that's only relevant to yourself. News and entertainment media stuff is always popular.

Like the other guys said look up the genra of your videos and leave comments on the top videos saying like "check out my videos plz" also copy your URL and if you have and Ifunny account you can post your videos up on that also make more videos watch more videos in your gerna and leave comments.I was like you and with only one sub then I got 22 just like that putting up a video.I know that's not a lot but that's a start. Make a video about a give away like a psn card itunes or something like that and say in the video you need to be a sub to enter and of course you will need to give away a prize but that's how I got my subs and soon maybe I will get 100 SUBS that's my goal but you gotta start somewere. Also in ever video say"sub for more" make that like your goal in each video so they get the idea.if you dnt edit your video you should try that it helps the views want to sub.
